Do you think soccer will have a good chance at taking interest away from basketball?

soccer

I think soccer has a good chance of taking interest away from basketball in America. I don’t understand why Major League Soccer doesn’t attack basketball. First of all, basketball requires you to be very tall to be successful at it. Why not go after young kids with a promotion that you don’t have to be a giant to be a success in that sport? That way, you have more kids playing soccer, watching the games and buying the merchandise.

Warming Up Before Playing Soccer

soccer
John Salmon asked:

Are your stretching techniques in preparation for a soccer game right for you? It May be a better way for you to avoid injury.

There are many ways to stretch before a soccer match for relaxation of muscles to avoid pain and injury during rigorous play. There seems to be a set of stretching techniques offered by the sports medicine community to the condition for the physical body. But these techniques right for everyone?

Having played and coached soccer for over thirty years now, I have attended all sorts of ways that amateur athletes go through stretching before a game and I tried myself some at the request of others. I have never followed these methods of stretching, because they caused a certain malaise that seems to hinder my game The warming for a game by stretching was not for me.

Most players stretch before a game, but there are some among us who give up this practice for our own warming techniques. It seems to me, based on my observations over the years, that the strongest supporters of pre-stretching long periods of the game are also those actors who has suffered all kinds of problems with their legs and their knees and build muscles and get cramps. There is great information on conditioning, by the way, that http://www.SoccerCountry.com to May be useful for you.

I have seldom had problems with injuries or pulled muscle cramps, only two or three times ever. I’m not stretching before a soccer match. I realize the importance of preparing the body for this type of exercise, but I go through a ritual that has kept me virtually injury free (except those caused by opponents during the game) and works more effectively for me. In fact, stretching does not have a positive effect on my performance or injury sensitivity. The couple of times I actually made me tense less effective.

The way I warmed to each soccer game I’ve ever played, and there were more than seven hundred of them, was simply dribbling the ball a little easier for a trot, then passing – and-forth with another player and then difficult to make plans in order. Just go through the motion of kicking the soccer ball back and forth and running and shooting, this kind of thing, nice and easy first and then more vigorous as game time approached.

Now, I am not saying that this is a good way to warm up for any kind of sport. We all have our own thoughts on what is the best way to the condition for an upcoming sports event and I have always believed that what works for you is the right thing to do for you. But I have noticed that soccer players who warm in the same way that I was a little slowly get into the world of work with the ball without any kind of stretching beforehand were also those with the fewest problems with tight muscles and cramps and stuff like that. Nothing scientific, my observation over three decades.

I agree that there are advantages in the light stretching to get The Kinks if you have not been active for some time, but if you participate in some type of physical effort on a regular basis, a period stretching heavy May not be your best option. Your body tells you what is right for you to try several techniques warming. Like some respects, do not work for me, my methods to get heated until May not be for everyone, whatever. The key is to do something just to lose, both physically and mentally, before a soccer match without going above.

Soccer and Friends

soccer
John Salmon asked:

Soccer is a sport that is played by many people throughout the world. People like to play soccer because they think it’s fun. He also enjoys playing soccer because they want to meet new people and make new friends. There are many other reasons that people like to play soccer, but making friends is most important for some players on the soccer field.

The object of the game of soccer is to get the ball in the field, via the goalkeeper, and the other team ’s net or goal. The team that does this will receive one point, but each team member has a part to get the ball close enough to goal to be scored. Getting the ball down the field is difficult because there are so many rules that must be followed.

Make friends in the team helps people pass the ball to a swift and effective. Some players have played with other players in the team for many years and can almost know in advance how they will handle the ball when it comes to the scope of their feet. Given that the rules apply to all players on the field, at least everyone will act responsibly when it comes to their time hitting the ball.

The basic rule of soccer need only one person the opportunity to hit the ball with their hands. As everyone uses their feet, that is where the players on the field will have their eyes trained. The goalkeeper will have their eyes on the ball and all players on the opposing team because he knows he can use his feet, hands and body to block a shot fired and who could come n ‘ matter where on the ground.

People love to play the game of soccer because they think it’s fun. The action on the ground can get mad at a time when ten people are hunting and kicking a ball from one end of the field to another. The players like chasing the ball around the field and joy appear on many of their faces. Smiles are sure to be on all the players face when their team scores a point and some may even enjoy screaming at the top of your lungs.

Of course, the other team will not be so happy, but this will certainly make them more determined. The action on the ground will not fail to be increased considerably as the opposing team tries to recover from this loss. They know they play with friends, but they continue to take play the game of soccer very seriously and a person soccer team wants to go home the loser.

Learning to Play Soccer

soccer
John Salmon asked:

I will not write here as a specialist soccer guru. My youngest son has just 8 yeas old and I saw him and his friends to ply soccer and thought: how he and all the kids learn to play soccer?

Well, frankly, is a mystery. And this mystery took me as an important question: how Brazil kids learn to play soccer?

I think it is not a simple answer to this question. In fact, if we knew the answer Brazilian soccer must never win the World Cup soccer. But as everyone knows, it is not fair.

However, there are things that intrigue us, not in Brazil because we have Pele, widely regarded as one of the greatest soccerer of all time, either because the Brazil soccer five times the world soccer champion.

This curiosity is when we see children playing soccer without shoes in the streets, improvised fields, earth, sand, gram, where, with a sort of dribble and set goals.

Ronaldo, Ronaldinho Gaucho, the two so-called best player World futboll, they played soccer with special skills since childhood. They are identified as a rising star.

What do they have other creature with millions of Brazilian children? I think this soccer start learning around 3 or 4 yeas old. I ask some children how they learned to play soccer and they told me it was with their fathers. Maybe at that age, they became aware of soccer skills. Anyway, I think the father and a ball as he introduced the boy to wake up soccer.

Today, we can also say that girls, to a lesser extent, are awaked for soccer. But the ratio of boys probably even greater.

On the other hand, soccer is a form of socialization of the child. There is a strong element so as to make new friendships, strengthen even older. And these friendships can also be considered an element of openness to the art of playing soccer.

When we look at small to play soccer and we find natural players, making his dribble, showing its affinity and ability with the ball, we have to imagine that beyond the soccer schools, the learning environment Internal been fundamental in learning these children.

In some ways, to play soccer with my son is very good and it takes me a sentimental player. My skills are not the same as when I was a child already, in my first time learning the art soccer. I remember playing soccer on the streets of my home. The memory came to me face my past. But these memories are gathered with my day, when I see my son to give me a dribble under my legs to score a goal and say he is a champion. Well, I think it is.
