Ok I am trying to learn about soccer and everything that goes with it but it is just confusing. I know that the Euro 2008 is going on right now. But what is it and what is also FIFA and the World Cup. I just learned that Canada has a world cup too. There is also UEFA. What is all this stuff? Someone please help me understand because I am a softball player and I don’t get any of this. Thanks!

How to become a professional soccer player?

I’m in Canada and I have joined my school soccer team. The coach has seen how good I am and has sent me on the Vancouver soccer team. I just wanted what I should do to become a professional soccer player. Where should get noticed? Where should I find scouts who can help me get into MLS and then get transfered to Europe for higher levels. How should I keep my dreams alive? I’m in grade 10 of high school and already I was asked to join the Vancouver Soccer Team because they have seen a lot of potential in me.

What kind of soccer ball is good for freestyling?

I know a guy who has this addidas ball, that’s a little smaller in size then regular and is also much heavier, and the ball is very good for freestyling. What is this ball called and where can I get it (in Canada)?

Any links or information on what kind of soccer ball this may be would be appreciated.
